Near Pangong Tso, when his car struggled to move due to the high altitude, a group of friendly truckers stopped to help. "We couldn’t see much but we surely saw your flag from a distance," they said, as they worked on his engine. "Couldn't leave a fellow deshbhakt (patriot) stranded, could we?" They refused any kind of payment, asking only for a selfie!
